Chana Wallek (surname also spelt Walk, Walek and Wallik) was the second wife of Mendel Rein and mother of Lea [Sosche] Rein, Klara [Clara] Rein, Adela [Adele/Adelle] Rein, Sam Rein and Alfred Rein. NB: Lea [Sosche] Rein was Chana Wallek's fourth child with Mendel Rein. Her first three children were stillborn sons, and the fourth an infant that lived for only three days.
